Sheikh Al Assir to LBCI: We sent fighters to Syria

Imam of Bilal bin Rabah mosque Sheikh Ahmad Al Assir reiterated on Thursday that his last visit to Syria was to the region of Qousair.

Al Assir asserted to LBCI the presence of armed group affiliated with him participating in fighting taking place in the region of Qousair, refusing to reveal the number of these fighters.

He also confirmed that he paid a visit to Turkey one month ago where he spent 3 days in Istanbul city, pointing out that he did not enter the Syrian territories through Turkey.
