Israeli army warns residents of Zawtar el-Charqiyeh to evacuate ahead of strikes

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an urgent warning to residents of south Lebanon, specifically those in Zawtar el-Charqiyeh, urging them to evacuate immediately.

In a statement posted on X, Adraee said the Israeli army would soon strike Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in the area “to counter the group’s prohibited attempts to rebuild its activities.”

He addressed residents of the building marked in red on an accompanying map and nearby structures, warning that they were “in close proximity to a building used by Hezbollah.” 

Adraee urged them to evacuate and move at least 500 meters away, stressing that remaining in the area “poses a danger to their safety.”
