Israeli airstrike hits outskirts of Ain al-Hilweh Camp in Sidon, South Lebanon

On Tuesday, an Israeli airstrike targeted the outskirts of the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in Sidon, southern Lebanon.

Preliminary information from both Lebanese and Palestinian sources indicates that the strike hit areas near the Khalid bin al-Walid Mosque. Early reports suggest that several people were injured in the attack, which is initially believed to have been aimed at Hamas operatives.
