Four rockets hit the town of Hermel

Four rockets from the Syrian side hit on Thursday the Hermel town of al-Shawaghir.

Losses were limited to material damages while the Lebanese Armed Forces cordoned off the area.

Firing from the uprising in Syria has spilled over into Lebanon, killing two people on April 14.

Officially, Lebanon is abiding by a self dissociation policy towards the conflict taking place in Syria.

However, March 14 alliance has backed the uprising, while Hezbollah and its allies support Syrian president Bachar al-Assad.

Syria repeatedly said rebels and weapons are being smuggled into Syria from Lebanon, while rebels accuse Hezbollah of intervening in the conflict by sending fighters to battle alongside Syrian troops.
