Israel says it struck 'Hezbollah training camp' in South Lebanon for second time in a week

The Israeli army said it carried out an airstrike on a "Hezbollah training and qualification compound" in South Lebanon on Friday, marking the second such strike in the past week.

Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee claimed Hezbollah's Radwan Force used the targeted site to train its fighters in weapons use and live-fire exercises. Israel accuses the elite unit of preparing operations against Israeli soldiers and civilians.

Earlier this week, Israel struck another Hezbollah training facility, also described by the army as part of the group’s operational infrastructure.

The latest strike, according to the Israeli statement, also targeted additional Hezbollah military infrastructure across several areas in South Lebanon.
