Aoun sees big gains for Shura Council

Change and Reform Bloc MP Michel Aoun slammed on Tuesday officials who feign innocence, in reference to Fouad Siniora’s last statement.

Aoun said “Siniora addressed two issues, going beyond limits,” adding that “he [Siniora] is not accused, rather guilty.”

Following his bloc’s weekly meeting in Rabyeh, Aoun touched on the decree of nationality revocation saying “this sets the precedent of respecting the decisions of the Shura Council”, voicing hope that “the issue will come to completion and that the number of people whose nationality was revoked will be more than a consolation prize.”
Aoun warned of the piling debts, the negligence of productive sectors, the necessity of electricity and water and the deficit in the state budget, adding that “2013 is the moment of choice”.
