Rai: To differentiate between a collaborator and a refugee

The Maronite Patriarch Bshara Rai expressed his relief for the parliament passing the draft law presented by head of the Free Patriotic Movement General Michel Aoun regarding the Lebanese refugees to Israel.

Rai, upon his arrival from Iraq, called on all parties in Lebanon to differentiate between the collaborators with the “Israeli enemy” and the refugees who had no choice but to leave this country to save their lives after the Israeli withdrawal from South Lebanon.

Asked about the proportionality-based electoral draft law, Rai said that Bkerke will meet with the Maronite council as soon as the council examines the details of that law.
