Elite army unit saves 30 citizens trapped in Arz snowstorm

The Orientation Directorate of the Army Command said that a unit of the Skiing and Mountain Fighting School saved 30 citizens stuck in 5 cars after being trapped by snow in the region of Dahr el Qadib – Arz heights. It added that this unit cut off the Arz-Bekaa road in order not to endanger the lives of drivers.

The Army Command called on citizens facing a similar situation to call the nearest military center, the Army’s operation room or the operation rooms of regional military headquarters on the following numbers:
