Kenaan calls for submitting budget to Parliament

The Head of the Parliament’s Finance and Budget Committee MP Ibrahim Kenaan said that no one should belittle the progress made in public finance, especially in the budget and financial accounts.

During a press conference, Kenaan called for submitting the budget to the Parliament, stressing that the most important goal is to guarantee the Parliament’s right to exercise oversight, keep close account of financial expenses and control public debt.

Kenaan also showcased the obstacles hampering the way towards a successful change and reform process.
