Geagea meets with Eichhorst, discusses Syrian refugees’ dossier

Lebanese Forces Leader Samir Geagea held a meeting on Wednesday with the EU Ambassador to Lebanon Angelina Eichhorst with talks featuring high on the latest political developments in Lebanon and in the region.

Both officials also tackled the security situation in the city of Tripoli, the file of the Syrian refugees and the efforts exerted by the European states in a bid to find a solution to the problem.

The U.N. estimates more than 1.1 million Syrians have fled, mainly to Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey, noting that over four million others have been displaced inside their war-torn country.
