The Heroes And The Miracle Baby

Wars, suffering, ongoing conflicts and the shadow of death hovering over whole populations...
This is the melody that puts us to sleep every night.

Yes, we are tired of the flashing images of pain around the clock. Images which have the power to drag us down the road of despair.
Yet hope remains... a shimmering light in the eyes of countless men and women, dedicating their lives to serving others. They are the beacons of hope.

On the 27th of August, The Syria Campaign posted a footage under the title "The Heroes And The Miracle Child".
The small documentary tells the story of "Khaled Farah", a Syrian volunteer rescue worker who lives to help others, and has indeed accomplished this mission during the Syrian Crisis.

Farah narrates his encounter with a newborn stuck under the wreckage, shorty after the entire neighborhood was targeted by barrel bombs. 
The rescue workers had just managed to pull a family out. The mother was crying hysterically, as her newborn child was still stuck and could die any second from suffocation or worse... a nightmare chased away by Khaled and his teammates!
