Thousands of fans and the world’s paparazzi lined the canals in Venice last weekend, to attend the wedding of Hollywood’s most famously fanciable film star, George Clooney.
But as the pictures of the ceremony flooded in, it became clear that all eyes were not on the Oscar-winning actor, but on his new wife, Amal Alamuddin, who became an international fashion icon with her series of incredible outfits.
In one weekend, she has worn Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, Giambattista Valli and now Stella McCartney.
And directly, fashionistas from around the world started comparing her style with that of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
So while it was once impossible to believe that anyone could out-chic Kate— just as it was inconceivable that Clooney would ever marry again — Amal has achieved both in one amazing weekend!
