Horrific turbulence forced the plane to make an emergency landing near Tokyo after it was diverted to Narita Airport in Japan.
In this regard, passengers were thrown into terror as the flight was reported to have entered winds up to 150mph; causing a violent shaking which lasted for around an hour.
In shocking footage filmed by a passenger, one man can be heard shouting: "I love my family."
Amid the terrified screams, a baby can be heard crying.
Passenger Marc Stanley told Fox News: "It was definitely frightening. After five minutes it gets on your nerves. After 10, you started to get a little more worried. After an hour, you're just going: 'What the heck's going on here?”
"Are we going to get out of this alive?"
Later on, passengers are filmed leaving the plane following its emergency landing with some of them wearing neck braces and bandages.
A makeshift triage center was set up on the runway of the airport to help with the injuries.
The plane was carrying 240 passengers and 15 crew members. Some were pictured by Mr Stanley receiving treatment on board, but luckily, the incident only caused minor injuries.
Twitter user Erin Cherry wrote: "Landed in Tokyo after massive, massive turbulence on #aa280. Broken glass etc flying inside cabin. Some were injured."
