Slovakia shuts Ukraine border for security reasons

Slovakia has closed the border with Ukraine for security reasons after Russian forces bombarded the city of Uzhhorod close to the frontier, the authorities said on Wednesday.

"For security reasons, all border posts on the frontier with Ukraine are closed... until further notice," the customs administration said in a statement sent to the media.
