Akiane began sketching at the age of four; by age six, she was painting on canvases. She told her mother that she had to paint because she had “visions from God" and that "Jesus was visiting her".
Her parents, who were atheists at the time, were simultaneously confused and amazed by their young daughter’s paintings of Heaven and Jesus Christ, whom she referred to as “God.”
Dubbed as a child prodigy and the “binary wunderkind” Akiane says everyone is blessed with a gift, pointing out that she simply found hers at the very tender age of four.
Since then, she's gone on to publish best-selling books and paintings which are valued at millions of dollars.
Having lived and explored more than 30 countries with her family, they've finally decided to settle down in Australia with hopes of opening up a gallery and an international arts academy for aspiring artists.
