Australia Man Charged for Driving Car with Frying Pan Instead of Steering Wheel

An Adelaide man has been charged after he tried to ‘fry like the wind’ by replacing his steering wheel with a frying pan.

South Australian police arrested the man after they were called to Norman Street in Adelaide’s CBD just after 8 am to reports of a man loitering in the area.

When they arrived, the man reportedly drove away in a Mazda Sedan.

The car was also found to be uninsured and unregistered. Police say the car would fail to pass an MOT test.

Appearing at Adelaide Magistrates' Court, the 32-year-old was charged and was refused bail. His car was impounded for 28 days.
