US allocates more than $696M in new humanitarian assistance for Syria including $192M for Lebanon
On June 30, the US government announced more than $696 million in new humanitarian assistance for the Syria crisis response including more than $192 million for assistance in Lebanon.

The US partners with humanitarian organizations to provide lifesaving assistance and also opportunities to thrive.

Through the US renewed commitment, UNICEF will be able to provide and support more than 250,000 children and the younger people in Lebanon.

This funding supports emergency food and cash assistance, emergency shelter, education, healthcare, safe drinking water, and improved sanitation.

More than $11.3 billion has been donated since the start of the crisis.
