Assad issues decree for usage of personal card in elections

Syrian president Bashar Assad issued legislative decree n. 125 for the year 2011 stipulating that each citizen exercises his right to vote using his personal card.

On the ground, 5 civilians were killed on Sunday, including 3 children by security forces gunfire.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that a bus driver was killed when security forces opened fire on his bus this morning in Idlib.

A man and his 3 children were also killed when gunmen in two passing cars shot them in Homs.
