Violent clashes in Idlib, pro-Assad protest in Rif Dimashq

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, one Syrian civilian was killed, and 29 were wounded by security forces gunfire in Idlib while 6 Syrian soldiers were killed, including a Major-rank officer, near the city of Kossayr in Homs.       

The Observatory said that violent clashes continued between dissidents and the army for the second day in a row in some of Idlib’s towns and villages.       
On the other hand, the Observatory quoted a dissident officer in Homs as saying that a Major-rank officer and five soldiers were killed, while two lieutenants were apprehended in Daraa and Rif Dimashq.      

Large crowds flocked to the main square of Sayida Zainab city in Rif Dimashq in support of the independent national decision and Assad’s comprehensive reform program, according to SANA.
