During the recent cabinet session, Sate Minister Nicolas Fattoush accused the Public Works Ministry of neglecting the principle of balanced development in Zahleh. In response to Fattoush’s remarks, Public Works Minster Ghazi Aridi called on him to look into the fair and just principles followed by the ministry before judging its performance.
An “impartial” study was submitted to the parties concerned with the contentious electricity plan and revealed that the cost of the energy minister’s plan far exceeds the cost of a similar plan in any other country.
