Pro-reform newspaper banned in Iran

The Iranian Committee for the Supervision of the Press issued a two-month ban on the Rouzgar (Time) newspaper, one of the most prominent reform newspapers, for publishing an anti-regime advertisement and state secrets, according to the Iranian Student’s News Agency (ISNA).

The newspaper, along with Etemaad (Trust) newspaper,  that was also banned until last June, allowed the launching of a discussion between reformists on their possible participation in the 2012 parliamentary elections.
