The Operation Decisive Storm came to an end following a confidential political settlement, which was reportedly brokered in Cairo in the presence of Yemeni, regional and international parties.
According to well-informed sources, the settlement stipulated that the Saudi-led coalition would reduce the airstrikes launched within the framework of the operation, and resume them in case the Houthi rebels and supporters of ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh implemented any military movements.
