The “aggressive” rhetoric of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei proved that a nuclear deal signed with world powers won't change Tehran's policies, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday.
Khamenei said on Saturday the agreement with world powers did not signal any wider shift in Iran's relationship with Washington or its policies in the Middle East.
“If anyone thought that the sweeping concessions for Iran would bring about a change in its policy, they have received a decisive answer over the weekend in the aggressive and provocative speech of Iran's ruler Khamenei. The Iranians don't even make an effort to hide the fact that they will use the hundreds of billions of dollars they will receive in this deal to arm their terror machine. And they say clearly that they would continue their fight in against the United States and its allies, headed by Israel,” Netanyahu said at the start of his weekly cabinet meeting in Jerusalem.
