Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Assiri stated on Sunday that the Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz had ordered the extension of the duration during which Lebanese citizens willing to perform the annual hajj pilgrimage may head to Saudi Arabia’s Mecca.
On Saturday, the Lebanese flag carrier, Middle East Airlines, declared that it is still waiting for the results of ongoing contacts with Saudi authorities aimed at extending the duration of transporting Lebanese pilgrims to Mecca.
