Lebanon’s political situation is unstable- EU commissioner

European Union enlargement commissioner Johannes Hahn expected on Saturday that “the next massive waves of illegal migrants that will enter the European countries might be coming from Lebanon.”

The commissioner expressed his concern over Lebanon’s latest developments, describing the country as “a weak state that is witnessing a tragic situation.”

“Lebanon’s political situation is unstable,” Commissioner Hahn stressed during an interview with Die Welt, a daily German newspaper.
