Russia's foreign ministry says discussed Syria with Iraqi delegation

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met a parliamentary delegation from Iraq in Moscow on Friday and discussed Russia's military operation in Syria, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

The ministry said Iraqi officials had emphasised Baghdad's intention to further strengthen counter-terrorist cooperation with Moscow.
