Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai met Sunday with the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, during a visit to Egypt.
Earlier during the day, Rai also held talks with al-Azhar Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmad al-Tayeb.
Patriarch Rai headed on Thursday to Egypt on a pastoral visit.
