Estonia imposes sanctions on Hezbollah

The government of Estonia imposed on Friday sanctions on Hezbollah for its "terrorist activities", dubbing it as “a major threat to both International and Estonia’s security."

According to the Estonian Foreign Ministry, the decision banned members of Hezbollah, who belong to both its military and political wings, from entering the country.

"This step supports other steps made by the United States, Britain, Germany, Lithuania and other countries which concluded that Hezbollah uses terrorist means and poses a threat to the security of many countries," the Estonian Foreign Minister said.
