Syrian ambassador to Lebanon: Lebanon needs Syria in coordinating security and economic matters
Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali asserted on Tuesday the depth of relations that link Lebanon and Syria and the joint need for cooperation.

The ambassador stressed on the social and economic interdependence between the two countries, adding that reactions to Syria’s decision to open the land borders with Syria must be positive on all levels.

“Syria and Lebanon need each other and Lebanon needs Syria in coordinating security and economic matters,” he said.

The ambassador added that Lebanon and Syria “cannot do without each other."
