US State Department establishes observatory to document Russian "war crimes" in Ukraine
The US State Department announced on Tuesday the formation of a new unit to investigate, document and shed light on suspected war crimes practices committed by Russian war crimes in Ukraine.

According to the Ministry, the "Ukraine Conflict Monitor" will work to collect, analyze, and disseminate evidence of Russia's war crimes and other atrocities in Ukraine.
The Observatory will collect publicly available or commercially available information, particularly social media and commercial satellite imagery, for use as evidence in current and future criminal and civil legal proceedings.
