Lebanon receives Interpol arrest notice for Carlos Ghosn

Lebanon received an Interpol arrest warrant on Thursday for former Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn, according to what a prominent judicial source told AFP.

The source said that "Cassation Public Prosecutor Judge Ghassan Oueidat received the red notice from the Interpol... based on the French arrest warrant" against Ghosn, the former head of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance.

Last month, a court in the Paris suburb of Nanterre issued an International arrest warrant related to suspicious payments of more than $16.3 million between Ghosn's Renault-Nissan alliance and an Omani company, according to prosecutors, accusations that Ghosn have denied.
