Iranian Forensic Medicine Authority says Amini died of illness not beating
The Iranian Forensic Medicine Authority reported on Friday that Mahsa Amini, whose death after her arrest by the morality police sparked widespread protests, died from repercussions of a previous illness and not because of "beatings" on vital organs.

The report, published by state media, stated that "Mahasa Amini's death was related to the repercussions of her undergoing "surgery to remove a brain tumor at the age of eight."

Protests are still raging in the streets of Iran, after Amini's killing. Others died during the protests, and several women cut their hair, as a way to express their rejection to what happened to Amini.
