UN says to monitor via satellite damage to cultural sites in Ukraine
The United Nations declared on Thursday that it will launch a public tracking tool within days to monitor the harm done to cultural, heritage and artistic sites in Ukraine after the Russian invasion, using before-and-after satellite imagery.

The 88 religious sites, 15 museums, 76 structures of historical or artistic interest, 18 monuments, and 10 libraries were among the 207 cultural sites in Ukraine that have been verified as damaged by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) since the Russian invasion on February 24.
