US will evacuate its citizens in Israel to Cyprus by sea on Monday

The US Embassy in Israel has confirmed that the United States will evacuate its citizens in Israel to Cyprus by sea on Monday, amidst the escalation between the Israeli state and the Islamic movement Hamas.

The embassy stated that the security situation and Israel's preparedness for a major military operation in the Gaza Strip prompted the relocation of "American citizens and their families" from Haifa to Cyprus.
