Erdogan: Hamas fighters are a freedom group protecting their land

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the cancellation of his scheduled visit to Israel, citing what he described as Israel's "inhumane" war against Hamas in Gaza.

Erdogan made this announcement while addressing the parliamentary bloc of his ruling party. 

He stated, "We had plans to visit Israel, but they have been canceled. We will not go." He also emphasized that he views Hamas fighters as a "freedom group protecting their land."
