Germany says Iran responsible for the death of Jamshid Sharmahd

A German Foreign Ministry official stated that Iran is responsible for the death of Jamshid Sharmahd.

This statement followed reports from Iranian state media quoting the judiciary as saying that Sharmahd, a dual German-Iranian citizen, died before his execution, which had been announced by Tehran late last month.
