Tehran gives US talks a real chance, says Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said in a post on X on Friday that Iran is giving the scheduled talks with its arch-enemy, the United States, a “real chance.”

Referring to the discussions set to take place in Oman on Saturday, he added, “We intend to assess the other side’s intentions and settle the matter on Saturday.”
