Netanyahu tells US envoy Iran 'cannot be trusted'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff during a meeting in Jerusalem Tuesday that Iran "cannot be trusted", ahead of a meeting between Washington and Tehran this week.

"Ahead of envoy Witkoff's trip to meet with an Iranian representative, the Prime Minister made clear his position that Iran has proven time and again that its promises cannot be trusted," a statement from Netanyahu's office read.
