Iran says death toll rises to 1,230

Iran said on Thursday that its death toll has reached 1,230 since the U.S. and Israel launched their joint attack on the country on Saturday.

Iran has been releasing daily death tolls as Thursday's figure was reported by the semi-official Tasnim news agency, citing the Foundation of Martyrs and Veteran Affairs.
