Zion was born in captivity to a lioness named Simba but had to be separated from her. Growing up with a man, the lion has become extremely friendly and when the caretaker takes Zion for a walk, he has to take his shoes off because their noise bothers the little lion.
Zion has never attacked humans. His caretaker expresses: “People talk about lions like they are just lions but they have personalities, they have humor and they laugh. Zion is a gentle giant.”
