This certainly isn’t the first time we’ve heard adorable stories about pets and their behavior.      
 
And this story is about this mother cat who adopted a newborn puppy.      
 
When the puppy was put in a box with the cat and her kittens, the mother cat sniffed the puppy and began licking him, then she rolled over and snuggled him in with her kittens.       
 
Surely this proves that maternal instincts extend to the animal kingdom, as well.
