REPORT: Extension of Kahwaji's mandate to be delayed

Caretaker Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn tackled Monday morning with President Michel Sleiman and caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati the extension of the mandate of Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Jean Kahwaji. The said extension will be delayed for several reasons.

This report will examine the reasons behind the delayed extension of Kahwaji's term and will shed light on the efforts exerted by Ghosn in this regard.
