REPORT: Kholoud Sukkariyah and Nidal Darwish attempt to register their civil marriage

Kholoud Sukkariyah and Nidal Darwish is the first couple to engage in a civil marriage on the Lebanese territory.

However, they face many obstacles in registering their marriage contract in the concerned Lebanese authorities.

This report will shed light on the obstacles that face any couple wishing to engage in a civil marriage in Lebanon.
