REPORT: Minister Rifi to LBCI: Hajj Safa vowed to follow up on Hezbollah checkpoints dossier
Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi stressed on Tuesday that he tackled, during yesterday's meeting with Hezbollah Liaison and Coordination official, Hajj Wafik Safa, the file of Hezbollah checkpoints between Al-Labweh and Arsal and their dangerous repercussions.

Minister Rifi told LBCI he received a promise to follow up on the case, and said: "The meeting with Safa was a prelude to dialogue and a continuation of previous efforts which contributed in settling major problems on the security level".

Rifi also stressed that Arsal residents ask for the deployment of the Lebanese Armed Forces and the State's control of the Lebanese-Syrian border.
