REPORT: Association of Muslim Scholars launches vicious verbal assault on LAF

The Association of Muslim Scholars launched on Sunday a vicious verbal assault on the military institution under the pretext that the Lebanese army shaved the beards of two Sheikhs arrested on terrorism charges, Omar al-Atrash and Omar al-Homsi.

The association also called for imposing the most severe penalties on what it called "sectarians" within the Lebanese army.
