Minister Harb said the cost of calls via Telecart and Kalam cards on the landlines network will be reduced by 50%, and calls on the mobile network will be reduced by 30%, emphasizing that the cost of each minute on the fixed network has become 50 LBP instead of 100 LBP, and the cost of each minute on the mobile network has become 200 LBP instead of 300 LBP.
Harb also mentioned that the international telephone call charges via the landlines and mobile networks has been reduced by 50%, explaining that the cost of each minute from 7 am until 10 pm has become 300 LBP instead of 600 LBP, and 200 LBP instead of 400 LBP from 10 pm until 7 am.
It is worth noting that the last time a reduction on tariffs on international phone calls occurred was in 2007.
