REPORT: Cost of living allowance deducted from teachers’ salaries

On Tuesday, one day before the demonstration of the Union Coordinating Committee, two private educational institutions, Hariri High School II and Lycee Abdel Kader, issued a decision to deduct the cost of living allowance form the salaries of all the teachers.

The schools justified their step by distributing a memo to the teachers, stating that their participation in the UCC’s strike is the main reason.
