REPORT: Salaries of public employees secured for the month of July

The salaries of public employees will be paid this month from “reserve funds", officials said on Wednesday.

Several meetings were held at the offices of MPs in the parliament in this regard.

The talks gathered Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil, head of Future bloc MP Fouad Siniora, Future bloc MP Ghazi Youssef, Health Minister Wael Abou Faour and Lebanese Forces bloc MP George Adwan.

Meanwhile, sources told LBCI that the salaries of public employees for this month have already been secured.
