REPORT: Berri delays presidential elections to October 29
Speaker Nabih Berri postponed the 13th parliamentary session, which was dedicated to the election of a new president, until October 29 due to lack of quorum.

In this regard, only 40 deputies out of 128 arrived at the parliament.

Lebanon has been plunged into a presidential vacuum after Michel Sleiman's mandate ended on May 25 with rival political blocs still divided over a new leader.
