REPORT: Four butcheries shut down in Lebanon’s Bekaa
Inspectors from the Ministry of Health on Friday conducted raids in the Bekaa region and sealed with red wax four butcheries which have failed to meet the propor health standards.       
 
On Thursday, Governor of Beirut Ziad Shebib ordered the closure of the fish market in Karantina for not meeting health standards.  
 
Last October, Health Minister Wael Abou Faour launched a food safety campaign to crack down on violators and end food corruption in Lebanon.
